James B Lile Crown Stag Toothpick, the knife is in amazing condition for being made in 1969 over 55 years old, it’s never been sharpened or used. The knife came out of Tom Clinton’s collection, Jimmy and Tom were good friends. This knife was made back when Jimmy used a Craftsman Bench grinder to grind and polish his blades, he made a ton of improvements after the years when he could get acquire better equipment
This is the knife that was featured in the catalog in 1971, and it’s the only one I’ve ever seen with aluminum and copper spacers with a brass name plate in the crown, super cool
Blade is 12” and probably D2 steel, this was one of Jimmy’s favorite steels
