This exceptional leather has been slowly vegetable-tanned in natural plant-based solutions that transform thick cowhides into sturdy, supple leather that molds to the shape of your hand over years of use.
Construction details were carefully considered, such as the Tin Cloth binding on interior seams and sand-cast solid brass hardware custom-debossed for Filson. The double-layer base adds water resistance, durability, and structure that aids loading. A stow pocket covers each exterior side panel.
